Build A Wind Turbine At Home

When you are outside and the wind blows across your face, that is the effects of the energy in the wind going to waste. The kinetic energy in the wind can be harnessed and used to power all of the appliances in our homes that use electricity. It can't be used as it is, so it has to be converted into the power that we can use, by way of a wind turbine. Find out more at this address http://www.homemadewindturbineplans.com/buildwindturbine.html

Build Wind Turbine - Making The Blades
It always seemed that only clever people could build a wind turbine and that it would cost a fortune. Not the case now though. There are dozens of websites out there that sell plans to build wind turbines in your very own homes with no trouble at all. I wish these had been around when I was a lad because I that's the kind of kid I was. That's the thing, these plans are really easy to follow that a child could follow them without too much problem.

They are set out in a step by step format that are really simple to follow. The plans have tons of diagrams and pictures to explain in greater detail. Good plans will also have videos that show you how to assemble different parts of the turbine in great detail too. The plans are very inexpensive to buy, about $50, and the materials will cost no more than $250. You may have some materials just sitting around your house or garage. Some materials can be found at your local diy hardware store. Other things like the motor and tower can be picked up on the internet for pittance. You will need deep cycle batteries to store your energy. These can be picked up for free if you know how. The plans explain this and also where to get everything that you need.
Build Wind Turbine
If you are interested in making solar power at home, then the right package will normally include plans on how to build your own solar panels thrown in. You will have access to two different forms of renewable energy creation. Two ways is far better than one because it is not always windy and some days and nights are not sunny. you will almost always have a way to gather free energy.

You will require no special tools and as I said, just a small amount of intelligence, common sense and elbow grease.

Of course you can find hundreds of pre-constructed wind turbines for sale on the internet if you have no desire to make one at home. These are a great investment also as they will pay for themselves in a year or two and they are fantastic for the environment. However they will cost you in the region of $2,500 to $3,000 for a reasonable unit. they can be picked up for as little as $600 but these may not stand the test of time as they are far less robust and prone to failure in extreme weather conditions. If you have the money, you can pay well in excess of $10,000 for a real quality turbine but that to me is paying over the odds.

If you have the plans in your palms, then you have the capacity to build many wind turbines for the price of one pre-constructed one.

Why would you want many turbines?

Well one won't give you all of the power that you need for your property. If you built and installed five or six however, you would be laughing. Not only would you stop those horrid energy bills, you can actually sell electricity back to your local power companies for a profit.

Why is it so important to create energy from the wind and other renewable sources?
Help Save Our Planet
Fossil fuels are running out and one day they will do so. As they deplete, the energy companies are going to push the prices up and up until they become unbearably high. When you build your own wind turbines, they will negate the reliance on energy companies and therefore stop overpriced bills completely. Secondly, burning fossil fuels creates greenhouse gasses that are warming the climate up so much that it threatens life as we know it. I am positive that governments will sort out the crisis by building large scale renewable energy depots, but by building homemade wind turbines, we can reduce the reliance on fossil fuels as individuals and that can only speed up the process of  converting to green energy. One other thing, the emissions from burning fossil fuels result in dirty air. As many as 50,000 people in the UK alone, die every year due to dirty air. It increases respiratory illness and heart disease so much so that scientists believe it is more harmful than passive smoking. It can reduce the life span of asthma sufferers by as much as nine years.
